I have to say the AO Infinity Mat far exceeded my expectations. A couple years ago I tried the Bemer for an acute shoulder problem twice per day for a week and didn't notice a difference. Using the AO Infinity Mat in Clinics

What happens at a patient’s first visit?

The AO Infinity Mat process begins with the patient laying on the mat where they can comfortably lay for 45 minutes. The initial visit should be scheduled for 45 minutes. The length of subsequent visits can vary depending on the needs of the user. The intensity should be adjusted to the comfort level of the patient every time.

What precautions should be taken before using this instrument?

Create appropriate individualized patient files when using the AO Infinity Mat at a clinic. Before using the instrument, ask the patient about their health history to ensure no contraindications can prevent them from using this device. A list of contraindications can be found at the bottom section of this blog. If a symptom or condition is not listed on the contraindications list, consult their physician before treatment.

What should be done when a patient feels panic or discomfort?

If this happens, stopping the device immediately. Provide the user with a sugary substance and warm water. Allow them to take proper rest. Measure their blood pressure before allowing them to leave.

Who is a Candidate for

PEMF Therapy?

Primarily, PEMF therapy has been used in the treatment of acute pain from injuries, osteoarthritis, and chronic lower back pain.

PEMF may also be used to reduce fatigue related to multiple sclerosis. It also has the potential to improve mobility and pain related to surgeries. PEMF devices can benefit improved mood, better sleep, and anti-aging effects.

What is the Recommended Time of Use?

The initial use should be 30 minutes. Each consecutive use can be longer according to the user’s needs. Adjust the intensity to the user's comfort level every time.

What Do the Different Setting Do?

Green Light PEMF Frequency (3 Hz)

Delta brain wave for deep relaxation, falling asleep, and staying asleep.

Blue Light PEMF Frequency (Schumann Wave Frequency)

Theta brain wave when dreaming. The body-mind-earth connection is the Earth's magnetic field, and the Schumann and geomagnetic frequencies are roughly in the range of 0-30 Hz.

Yellow Light PEMF Frequency (10 Hz)

Alpha brain wave for deep relaxation and meditation. It has been found to increase dopamine and 5-HTP levels, important for helping with depression.

Red Light PEMF Frequency (23Hz)

What Do the Different Setting Do?

Main Power Button:

Turn power ON / OFF for all the functions of the mat.

Switch/Time Button:

The heating timer button sets how long the heating on the mat is on. There are 4 options. Every time you press the ‘Switch/Time’ button it will switch settings and light up the setting that it's currently on.

3H = Heating for 3 hours 6H = Heating for 6 hours12H = Heating for 12 hours Heating Off

Warmer Timer Lamp

You will find this setting above the ‘Switch/Time’ button. They will be marked as ‘3H, 6H, 12H.’ When you select a setting with the ‘Switch/Time’ button, the setting you select will light up.

PEMF Program Button

There are four different PEMF settings.
